Commitment to growth as OCS makes strategic acquisition

OCS Group UK Limited has today acquired part of the business and assets of Fountains Environmental Limited (in Administration), Fountains Limited (in Administration), Fountains Forestry Limited (in Administration) and Fountains Support Services Limited (in Administration) (“the Companies”) from Antony David Nygate and Shay Bannon in their capacity as Administrators of the Companies.
Martin Gammon, Managing Director of OCS Group UK, said, “This is great news for everyone at OCS and a clear demonstration of our intention to further develop our strong position as a leading player in the UK FM market. By adding the Fountains brand and customer base to OCS, we will broaden our horticulture service offering to customers, whilst facilitating synergy with existing clients.”
Services provided by the Companies include grounds maintenance, street scene (street cleaning), landscaping, arboriculture and waste management, as well as forestry and land management. Fountains’ customers will continue to receive the same service from the same staff, to OCS’s exacting high standards.
Under the terms of the agreement, all employees engaged on the contracts acquired will be entitled to transfer to OCS Group UK Limited in accordance with The Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006. OCS welcomes the new colleagues from Fountains who are joining one of the largest privately-owned facilities management companies in the world with 56,000 employees and an unrivalled track record in the provision of support services.
