Aviva, the UK’s largest insurer, has partnered with RoSPA to offer its brokers and customers a wide range of safety and health training to protect their business, staff and customers.
Aviva policyholders, underwriters and brokers will benefit from discounted rates, as well as access to a wide range of courses, consultancy and online training provided by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, an accident prevention charity with a 97-year history.
Aviva and its policyholders will also be given access to the RoSPA Infocentre – a unique library catalogue of safety-related documents. The Infocentre also provides an extensive enquiry service on all aspects of safety and health. As part of the agreement, Aviva will become RoSPA members, which means it will be making a vital contribution to furthering RoSPA’s work, helping to reduce the tragic scourge of accidents.
Simon Bramall, risk manager at Aviva Risk Management Solutions, said: “We’re delighted to be able to offer our brokers and customers a comprehensive range of risk management tools and training. By offering access to RoSPA’s courses, resources and consultancy, we believe this will help our customers to better understand, manage and control their risks. Ultimately, this will help them to protect their business and staff. From Aviva’s perspective, RoSPA’s services allow us to build stronger and deeper relationships with our customers by helping them to meet their risk management needs.”
Frances Richardson, RoSPA’s director of operations, said: “RoSPA is really pleased to be associated with the UK’s biggest insurance company and to have been announced as its preferred supplier for safety training. This partnership with Aviva will have a big influence on the risk management of so many organisations, as we work together to help fulfil our charitable mission to save lives and reduce injuries.”
A range of courses are covered by the agreement, both scheduled and on a bespoke in-company basis. Full details about the courses covered by the new partnership are available at www.rospa.com/training/about/aviva-preferred-supplier.aspx.
