Special Recruitment Opportunity – Maintenance Planning
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Planner with good organisational skills, a logical approach and a background in engineering to work at our Hazelwood site, just 8 miles outside of Derby City Centre. You will be required to schedule and co-ordinate people resource, parts and material for all planned maintenance work, with support from other members of the Facilities team. Although a qualification in engineering isn’t essential, you will be required to have experience of maintenance planning, general engineering principles or site maintenance.
Key Accountabilities:
Interpret and ensure preventative maintenance activities give consideration to legislation and available resources.
Implement, adapt and maintain Preventative Maintenance (PM) plans through the use of a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS).
Ensure all new plant and equipment is entered onto the CMMS with tasks and activities defined, liaising with Project Managers, Engineers and third parties where appropriate.
Produce weekly and monthly planning reports to show the effectiveness of maintenance plans, equipment up time and maintenance costs.
Maintain information for equipment and services both electronically and paper based. Ensure all records and work tasks are signed off for audit requirements.
Undertake duties in line with company HS&E policies, practices and safe working procedures.
Requirements:
Educated to HNC or equivalent level in an engineering discipline or experience working within an engineering function
Previous knowledge or experience of maintenance planning
Experience of collating and managing information to maintain statistics for presentations.
Previous experience of administering a computer maintenance management system to plan maintenance work would be advantageous
An understanding of the requirements and implementation of relevant Legal, Health and Safety for site maintenance.
Ability to use Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
